The Shift Home Final Design

The Shift Home Design Process

We must confess something: we gave our first design a 6/10. We certainly weren't sold on it. Some parts were good. Some...needed your help. And you didn't disappoint us.

Thanks to Preston at Jetson Green and the person leaving the "looks like a bus terminal" comment on the site. We had a good laugh at that because, well, the first design kind of did have the terminal thing going. Constructive or critical, we'll take all the advice you have to give.

Hats off to all of our online and offline collaborators, but especially Crystal Bueckert of BHCD and her "Pattern Language" inspired advice on roof lines and materials. She really helped to produce this final design and we can see many more collaborations with her in the future. We also had one impromptu design session at our haunt, Caffe Sola, with Montreal-based architect Alexis Naylor who contributed many ideas into the mix.

We've now shifted gears out of design mode and into construction mode. Over the next few months we will be providing construction updates, info on green products we're putting into the Shift Home, and sales in for the joint. We hope you'll stay tuned.

Don't you acknowledge that it's the best time to receive the credit loans, which would make you dreams real.

if the roof could be utilized as a rooftop deck with a spiral staircase in the back. Then I think a green rooftop garden would be a nice added touch. This design is obviously suited for a narrow lot so to be able to utilize the rooftop space would be beneficial.
